Counter Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as the daily face of the company, managing customer relationships and ensuring a positive experience.
• Process customer orders, perform parts research, and manage warranties.
• Communicate daily with customers via phone, email, or in person regarding order status and backorders.
• Research and resolve customer issues, complaints, and credit/return requests.
• Support branch operations, including assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Promote and support sales promotions to drive business growth.
• Collaborate with regional sales, credit, billing, and technical service departments.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to "Zero Harm" culture and PPE compliance.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the HVAC industry.
• Experience with warehouse operations and forklift operation.
