About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide culturally affirming clinical services including triage, assessments, intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
- Deliver brief individual counseling, couples counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention
- Assist students in connecting with appropriate campus and community resources, including psychiatric referrals
- Contribute to campus wellness initiatives through outreach programming and consultation with faculty and staff
- Design and lead creative wellness programming in partnership with Student Affairs colleagues
- Maintain all administrative and documentation requirements related to clinical service delivery
- Provide programmatic and functional supervision to Peer Counselors and Interns
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy
- Current independent clinical licensure in the State of New Hampshire (LCMHC, LICSW, or Psychologist) or eligibility to obtain it
- Demonstrated experience working with college-aged populations (18–25)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of best practices in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and suicide prevention
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in wellness and harm reduction programming
- Experience providing clinical supervision to trainees or emerging professionals
