About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide culturally affirming clinical services including triage, assessments, intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
  • Deliver brief individual counseling, couples counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Assist students in connecting with appropriate campus and community resources, including psychiatric referrals
  • Contribute to campus wellness initiatives through outreach programming and consultation with faculty and staff
  • Design and lead creative wellness programming in partnership with Student Affairs colleagues
  • Maintain all administrative and documentation requirements related to clinical service delivery
  • Provide programmatic and functional supervision to Peer Counselors and Interns

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy
  • Current independent clinical licensure in the State of New Hampshire (LCMHC, LICSW, or Psychologist) or eligibility to obtain it
  • Demonstrated experience working with college-aged populations (18–25)
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of best practices in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and suicide prevention

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wellness and harm reduction programming
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to trainees or emerging professionals
