Responsibilities

• Supervise the identification and investigation of copyright and trademark infringers
• Direct day-to-day operations of outside enforcement vendors and internal legal staff
• Serve as a front-line decision-maker for enforcement actions and escalations
• Develop and execute intermediary enforcement strategies targeting payment processors, ad networks, and domain registrars
• Draft clear, forceful, legally grounded C&D letters
• Assist senior legal team in advising business management regarding IP investigations
• Support IP enforcement litigation in collaboration with outside counsel
• Support and collaborate with IT security and game integrity teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and JD from an accredited law school
• 5-7 years of focused experience in IP litigation and enforcement
• Deep working knowledge of copyright and trademark law
• Excellence in IP enforcement drafting (C&D letters, takedown notices, etc.)
• Sophisticated understanding of gaming ecosystems, modding communities, and virtual asset marketplaces
• Investigative mindset for targeting financial and technical support structures of infringers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-timezone collaboration
