Counsel

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, draft, and advise on commercial agreements including digital/e-commerce, software, SaaS, marketing, distribution, franchise, licensing, and logistics.
• Advise on general commercial matters such as procurement, supply chain issues, and data protection.
• Support business compliance projects by providing legal advice and liaising with departments to ensure good governance.
• Deliver pragmatic, commercially-minded advice to key stakeholders to proactively manage and reduce legal risk.
• Build strong collaborative relationships across the business to support innovative projects and strategic ambitions.

Requirements

• English law qualified lawyer.
• Approximately 1 to 4 years PQE (Post Qualified Experience).
• Specialization in commercial law.
• Experience gained within a reputable law firm or an in-house legal team.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage complex matters, and prioritize a heavy workload.
