Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage EPC agreements, equipment supply, and O&M agreements
• Manage master services agreements and NDAs related to renewable energy power plants
• Advise management on business transactions involving customers, contractors, and suppliers
• Proactively manage upstream and downstream risk across multiple projects
• Advise the company on claims and disputes with business partners
• Manage outside legal counsel and consultants
• Conduct training classes for company personnel

Requirements

• Juris doctor from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one United States jurisdiction
• Minimum of two years of legal experience
• Experience in the renewable energy industry
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts (EPC, capital equipment, or PPAs)
• Experience managing commercial disputes
• Ability to handle heavy workloads and critical time constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• Four or more years of legal experience
• Located in, or willing to relocate to, the Phoenix/Scottsdale metropolitan area
