Costume Technician

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of all Entertainment show costumes including laundering, hand sewing, and machine stitching
• Work with Entertainment Leadership to ensure the integrity of Disney Character costumes
• Run dressing tracks for shows and assist with quick changes
• Upkeep of all dressing and costume storage spaces
• Ensure the integrity of all entertainment events shipwide
• Assist with Cast changeovers including costume load in/out and dressing room changeovers

Requirements

• Minimum two years of costuming experience in a theatrical environment
• Knowledge of costume construction and maintenance of various fabrics
• Ability to hand sew and machine stitch
• Experience with running dressing tracks and quick changes
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a C1/D Seaman's visa
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and criminal background check
• Willingness to live and work onboard a vessel in a multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarization with cosmetology
• Experience with puppet construction
• Leadership experience
