Costume Attendant

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply, preparation, and distribution of costumes for various performances
• Assist performers and characters with dressing in accordance with technical specifications
• Perform costume inspections to ensure high standards before stage appearances
• Execute sewing repairs and alterations, including last-minute adjustments during shows
• Maintain and clean costumes and accessories using appropriate materials and products

Requirements

• Professional training in costume professions or a DTMS with Habillage option
• Proven experience in costume assistance for musical theater, film, or festivals
• Strong proficiency in sewing and garment repair
• French language proficiency at a B2 level
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• English language proficiency
• Valid driver's license (Permis VL) for backstage movement
