Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Finance Business Partner for the R&D function, providing financial guidance and commercial support to R&D leadership and project teams
• Develop, maintain, and standardize costing models for formulation development, analytical development, stability studies, clinical trials, and bioequivalence studies
• Support project evaluation and decision-making through cost-to-deliver analysis, profitability assessments, and financial scenario modeling
• Own the financial creation, validation, and costing of Bills of Material (BOMs) for pilot and scale-up batches ensuring alignment with Oracle ERP
• Coordinate with Costing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to validate material, conversion, and overhead costs
• Review and validate financial aspects of CRO quotations, contracts, amendments, and invoices
• Ensure proper financial recording of R&D inventory, material movements, and intercompany transactions within Oracle ERP
• Identify financial and operational risks impacting R&D projects and recommend process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5-9 years of experience in Finance, Costing, or Business Partnering roles
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle ERP
• Strong exposure to project-based costing and multi-legal-entity organizations
• Experience in pharmaceutical or R&D-intensive environments is preferred
