Costing Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Manage financial close processes for multiple entities to drive book close efforts and improve efficiency
• Oversee all costing-related accounting activities, including inventory accounting policies, memos, write-offs, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify use cases for BI/reporting design and build prototypes using tools like Power BI to develop dashboards and KPIs
• Execute end-to-end Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasting from a GBS perspective
• Ensure strict adherence to global accounting policies, costing guidelines, and corporate financial policies
• Perform regular ledger scrutiny to ensure accuracy in general ledgers, cost centers, and profit center accounting
• Coordinate SOX compliance work for all entities and support external audit requests with detailed account analyses
• Drive value through automation opportunities and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements

• Qualified CMA
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Costing, Finance, or Accounting
• Proficiency in SAP and Power BI
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in inventory analysis and working
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a multinational firm or a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working within a Global Business Service (GBS) model
• Knowledge of automation tools and process improvement methodologies
