Costing Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial close process for multiple entities, driving book close efforts and improving efficiency.
• Oversee all costing-related accounting activities, including inventory accounting policies, write-offs, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Utilize Power BI to design dashboards, develop KPIs, and build reporting prototypes.
• Perform end-to-end Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to global accounting policies, costing guidelines, and SOX compliance.
• Conduct regular scrutiny of ledgers to ensure accuracy in cost center and profit center accounting.
• Support external audits by providing detailed account analyses and documentation.
• Drive value through automation initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Qualified CMA.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Costing, Finance, or Accounting.
• Proficiency in SAP and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in inventory working and analysis.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a multinational firm or a Manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working within a Global Business Service (GBS) model.
• Experience with automation tools and process improvement.
