Cost Optimization Strategy Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize trading costs across Brokerage, Clearing, and Exchange for Asia-Pacific markets
• Analyze large sets of trading and brokerage data to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Present data-driven findings to global teams, trading desks, and business managers
• Assist with brokerage negotiations and the drafting of rate cards
• Support the design and implementation of management information systems and dashboards
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external brokers or venues
• Provide support to operations teams on brokerage-related queries and deliver regional market updates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of experience in Finance and Operations related roles
• Existing relationships with trading venues in the Asia region
• Thorough understanding of Over-the-Counter (OTC) traded products and trading venues
• Strong understanding of trading flows and the agency business model
• Expert knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent presentation skills
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) queries
