About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on cost and procurement strategies and manage vendor prequalification
- Manage estimating services for full project lifecycles, including developing project estimates and value engineering
- Establish reporting schedules and present cost reports and forecasts to clients
- Manage cost control processes, including payment application assessments and change order reviews
- Monitor the invoicing process to ensure alignment with financial controls
- Manage final accounting processes, post-contract audits, and account closeouts
- Perform duties using Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, and Cost Estimating Software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying within construction
- Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- RICS accreditation or working toward accreditation
- Construction consultancy experience
