Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategy, vendor prequalification, and bid assessment
• Manage estimating services across full project lifecycles
• Establish reporting schedules and track project budgets and spend forecasts
• Manage cost control processes including payment applications and change orders
• Monitor the invoicing process to ensure alignment with financial controls
• Benchmark performance across multiple projects to drive continuous improvement
• Manage final accounting, post-contract audits, and account closeouts
• Lead post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying in construction
• Experience with medium- to large-scale, complex construction projects
• Strong understanding of estimating, cost planning, procurement, and change management
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction consultancy experience
• RICS accreditation or progress toward chartership
