About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on procurement strategies and manage vendor prequalification
- Manage estimating services across full project scope and validate vendor pricing
- Lead cost reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and commercial risk registers
- Manage cost control processes, payment application reviews, and change order assessments
- Support dispute prevention and resolution related to contracts and payments
- Monitor invoicing processes and benchmark cost performance
- Lead final accounting, post-contract audits, and project close-out activities
- Utilize cost management tools and estimating software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in construction cost management
- Experience with medium to large-scale construction projects (data center, industrial, or mission-critical preferred)
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of procurement, value management, and cost control practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- RICS accreditation or working toward accreditation
