Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on cost and procurement strategies and manage vendor prequalification
• Manage estimating services across full project lifecycles and develop project estimates
• Establish reporting schedules and present cost reports and forecasts to clients
• Manage cost control processes including payment application assessments and change order reviews
• Monitor the invoicing process to ensure alignment with financial controls
• Manage final accounting processes, post-contract audits, and account closeouts
• Perform duties using Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, and Cost Estimating Software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying within construction
• Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or working toward accreditation
• Construction consultancy experience
