Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategies, manage vendor prequalification, and assess proposals and bids
• Manage estimating services by developing project estimates and supporting value engineering
• Manage cost reporting, including establishing schedules, reviewing forecasts, and tracking budgets
• Support cost control processes by reviewing payment applications and change orders
• Manage and monitor the invoicing process
• Benchmark performance against comparable projects
• Support final accounting activities and post-contract audits
• Participate in post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned
• Perform duties using Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, and Cost Estimating Software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in a cost management role within the construction industry
• Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects
• Solid understanding of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or working toward certification
• Experience in data center, industrial, or large campus environments
• Construction consultancy experience
