Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial strategies and manage change control processes
• Manage vendor prequalification, bid assessments, and appointment processes
• Support change order processes, including reviewing and negotiating changes
• Maintain change logs, contingency tracking, and commitment registers
• Develop project estimates and support value engineering and risk assessment
• Establish reporting schedules and present cost reports and forecasts
• Provide detailed cost analysis to support client decision-making
• Review payment applications and evaluate contractor entitlements
• Manage and monitor the invoicing process
• Support final accounting activities and post-contract audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of cost management experience in the construction industry
• Experience in change management, change order review, and cost control
• Experience with medium to large-scale construction projects (data center, industrial, or large campus preferred)
• Strong understanding of procurement routes and value engineering
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or working toward certification
• Experience in construction consultancy
