About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on strategies, vendor prequalification, and bid assessments
- Manage estimating services for full projects, including construction and direct work costs
- Establish cost reporting schedules and maintain commercial risk registers
- Oversee cost control processes, including payment applications and change orders
- Manage invoicing, final accounting, and post-contract audits
- Conduct post-contract reviews to establish lessons learned
- Utilize Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, and Cost Estimating Software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or estimating
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and procurement routes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Consultancy experience
- Progress toward or attainment of RICS accreditation
