About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on cost and procurement strategies and manage vendor prequalification
- Develop comprehensive project estimates for full lifecycles including construction and fees
- Manage cost reporting, schedules, forecasts, and commercial risk registers
- Oversee cost control processes, payment application assessments, and change order requests
- Monitor invoicing processes to ensure alignment with contractual agreements
- Perform final accounting processes, including post-contract audits and account closeouts
- Utilize Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, and Cost Estimating Software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying within construction
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement routes, and value engineering
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- RICS accreditation or progress toward accreditation
- Previous experience in construction consultancy
