Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategies, vendor prequalification, and bid assessments
• Manage full project estimating services, including construction and fee estimates
• Develop and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and commercial risk registers
• Oversee cost control processes, payment applications, and change orders
• Monitor invoicing and manage final accounting and post-contract audits
• Perform duties using Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, and estimating software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry
• Experience with medium or large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or progress towards it
• Previous experience in construction consultancy
