Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, feasibility studies, and detailed cost plans
• Provide cost advice during design development for high-tech facility requirements
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performance
• Prepare tender documentation for CSA, MEP, and specialist packages
• Manage tender processes, including evaluation and commercial analysis
• Manage variations, change control, and claim assessments
• Review contractor progress claims and certify interim payments
• Maintain cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Identify cost risks, trends, and mitigation measures
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement functions
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or Construction Management
• 5–10 years of experience in cost management within construction or industrial projects
• Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data center, or mission-critical projects
• Experience in a cost consultancy or professional services environment
• Experience handling CSA and/or MEP packages
• Strong understanding of procurement and contract administration
• Analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities
