About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of cost management for single real estate projects throughout planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout
- Assess project scope and client needs to develop recommended budgets for pre-bid and pre-construction services
- Partner with project teams to oversee pre-bid and pre-construction services for budget and cost plan development
- Ensure all work is funded in compliance with client internal policies
- Review and report all bid responses to the client, including recommendations for allowances and contingencies
- Align cost plans with project master schedules and manage cash flows and project accruals
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job disciplines within the function
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Sophisticated math skills for financial-related calculations
- Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
- Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources
