About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of cost management for single real estate projects throughout planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout
  • Assess project scope and client needs to develop recommended budgets for pre-bid and pre-construction services
  • Partner with project teams to oversee pre-bid and pre-construction services for budget and cost plan development
  • Ensure all work is funded in compliance with client internal policies
  • Review and report all bid responses to the client, including recommendations for allowances and contingencies
  • Align cost plans with project master schedules and manage cash flows and project accruals
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job disciplines within the function

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Sophisticated math skills for financial-related calculations
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources
