About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare consistent and accurate cost estimates and elemental cost plans for capital building projects using NRM1
  • Support scheme delivery to maintain control of approved baselines, including cost assurance and risk review
  • Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to support commercial decision making
  • Identify and contribute to the management of risks, threats, and opportunities
  • Support business case reviews and client governance
  • Contribute to change control and cost assessment of changes
  • Engage with Trusts, Cost Consultants, and Contractors to maintain robust reporting
  • Support the adoption and development of client-created tools and products

Requirements

  • Experience using NRM1/2 across projects of varying scales
  • Relevant technical qualification with a track record in delivering major projects and programmes
  • Strong client-focused approach and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in construction consultancy or healthcare/life science projects is advantageous
  • Working towards or holding an applicable professional qualification
  • Experience in managing complex and challenging situations
  • Team leadership and management experience
