About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end cost management services for real estate projects typically ranging from £5m to £10m
  • Perform feasibility studies, cost planning, and produce final cost plans
  • Manage tendering and procurement processes, including pre-qualification and tender analysis
  • Act as contract administrator, managing post-contract cost variances and change control
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on projects
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Interface with clients, Project Managers, and other consultants
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in bid documentation
  • Mentor and support junior staff members

Requirements

  • Ability to work with autonomy and initiative
  • Self-motivated with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Working towards or recently achieved RICS Chartered Status
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build professional relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure
