About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end cost management services for real estate projects typically ranging from £5m to £10m
- Perform feasibility studies, cost planning, and produce final cost plans
- Manage tendering and procurement processes, including pre-qualification and tender analysis
- Act as contract administrator, managing post-contract cost variances and change control
- Conduct cost checks and valuations on projects
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
- Negotiate and agree final accounts
- Interface with clients, Project Managers, and other consultants
- Identify new business opportunities and assist in bid documentation
- Mentor and support junior staff members
Requirements
- Ability to work with autonomy and initiative
- Self-motivated with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Working towards or recently achieved RICS Chartered Status
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
- Ability to collaborate and build professional relationships
- Ability to work well under pressure
