About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide estimate and cost planning including producing and presenting final cost plans
- Perform all aspects of procurement, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and compiling contractual documents
- Manage cost checks and carry out valuations on large projects
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to clients
- Provide input into value engineering and negotiate final accounts
- Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants throughout all project stages
- Identify opportunities to develop new business and improve cost management procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience preparing cost estimates
- Experience in Data center, Pharma, or Oil and Gas sectors preferred
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Technical experience in pre-contract, post-contract, and final account cost management
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, structural, and architectural construction systems
- Experience leading cost management on medium to large sized construction projects
- Experience advising clients on value management and life cycle costing
