About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets for high-rise residential and mixed-use developments
- Provide cost advice on structure, façade, finishing works, and building systems
- Monitor and track project costs against approved budgets
- Prepare tender documentation for structural works, façade, and infrastructure
- Support tender processes including quotation comparison and cost evaluation
- Manage variations, change orders, and cost adjustments
- Review contractor claims and progress payments
- Prepare monthly cost reports and track project cash flow
- Support value engineering exercises to improve cost efficiency
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 5-10 years of experience in cost management or commercial roles
- Proven track record in office fit-out, industrial, or residential projects
- Experience in a cost consultancy or client advisory environment
- Exposure to multi-package procurement and fast-track project delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accreditation such as MRICS or equivalent
