Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead budget development, including detailed cost estimates and life-cycle costing for major civil works
• Implement cost control procedures to track commitments, expenditures, and forecasts
• Manage change processes by evaluating the financial impact of design changes and variations
• Lead value engineering workshops to identify technical alternatives that reduce costs
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, reporting on CPI and SPI
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, cash flow forecasts, and executive financial dashboards
• Oversee contract administration for NEC or FIDIC contracts, including progress payments and claims

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in cost management and project controls within construction or engineering
• Expertise in cost management software such as Prism, Ecosys, or SAP
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of NEC or FIDIC contract types
• Deep understanding of construction methods and technical specifications for heavy infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) certification
• CCE/CCP (Certified Cost Professional) certification
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary commercial teams
