Cost Manager (Data Centre)

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-contract and post-contract cost management services for construction projects, including data centres and critical facilities
• Prepare order-of-cost estimates, cost plans, and elemental cost analyses
• Undertake rate analysis, benchmarking, and cost modelling for MEP systems and electrical infrastructure
• Lead tendering and procurement activities, including tender strategy and documentation
• Manage change control, variations, and compensation events
• Prepare monthly post-contract cost reports, cashflows, and forecasts
• Provide commercial input into Value Engineering and cost optimisation exercises
• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in cost management or construction-related roles
• Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in CostX or equivalent cost estimation software
• Native or business-level proficiency in English
• Experience or interest in data centre or MEP-intensive projects
