About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-contract and post-contract cost management services for construction projects, including data centres and critical facilities
- Prepare order-of-cost estimates, cost plans, and elemental cost analyses
- Undertake rate analysis, benchmarking, and cost modelling for MEP systems and electrical infrastructure
- Lead tendering and procurement activities, including tender strategy and documentation
- Manage change control, variations, and compensation events
- Prepare monthly post-contract cost reports, cashflows, and forecasts
- Provide commercial input into Value Engineering and cost optimisation exercises
- Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in cost management or construction-related roles
- Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in CostX or equivalent cost estimation software
- Native or business-level proficiency in English
- Experience or interest in data centre or MEP-intensive projects
