About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform estimating, measurement, bills of quantity production, and cost planning activities
- Manage the procurement process including quotation enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation
- Execute quantity take-offs from tender drawings and documents
- Monitor and verify monthly work progress claims and assist in monthly cash flow projections
- Produce monthly cost reports
- Interface with clients and consultants as a cost lead at all project stages
- Review and analyze variation order assessments and produce final accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- 3 to 10 years of experience in a consultant Quantity Surveying background
- Experience in industrial, data centers, commercial, infrastructure, hospital, hospitality, or retail fit-out sectors
- Technical knowledge in cost estimates, bills of quantities, value engineering, and tendering
- Strong contract knowledge and experience with change orders and final account close-out
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
