Cost Management Industrial & Science Senior Professional

Responsibilities

• Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking
• Support total project budget planning during the planning stage
• Perform estimation for new construction and renovation projects
• Provide Value Engineering (VE) proposals and evaluations
• Support bidding and contracts including procurement strategy and price negotiations
• Monitor costs and manage changes after construction contracts are signed
• Provide cost reporting and maintain close communication with clients and stakeholders
• Facilitate consensus building with clients based on understanding of design documents

Requirements

• Experience in construction projects (e.g., construction manager, procurement, project manager, or consultant)
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese
• Business level English (TOEIC 700+)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Excel (SUMIF, XLOOKUP)
• Strong problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction projects
• Technical knowledge in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and bid management
• Desire to grow expertise in a global environment
