Cost Management Engineer (Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Perform technical cost estimations for parts and systems defined by the electrical engineering team
• Support the electrical engineering team in adopting cost-oriented design approaches
• Participate in the creation of cost targets and provide detailed cost breakdowns for components
• Support the procurement team during supplier negotiations
• Apply or develop methodologies and analysis methods to calculate technical costs throughout the product development cycle
• Propose design or manufacturing process improvements to reduce technical costs
• Promote a culture of cost awareness within the engineering team

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering
• Experience in cost engineering, electrical engineering, or within innovation departments
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation methodologies
• Fluency in both French and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of a third language to support international collaboration with partners and clients
