About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cost management team specifically for the Semiconductor Sector in Boise, Idaho
  • Ensure service excellence in delivery, client engagement, and continued growth of service offerings
  • Manage strategic and operational aspects including resource planning, financial management, and business generation
  • Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and acting as a brand ambassador
  • Oversee communications with clients and provide oversight of all cost management team services
  • Mentor and develop staff to promote a culture of learning, respect, and inclusivity
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margin levels, and monthly fees
  • Lead market research and produce thought leadership reports regarding construction market conditions
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in internal and external audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years of relevant cost management or quantity surveying experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing high-performing cost management teams in a consulting environment
  • Proven business development acumen and a track record of driving business growth
  • Extensive experience in major construction sectors (e.g., commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, or industrial manufacturing)
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering
