Cost Management Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Cost Managers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional growth.
• Oversee client communications and manage the strategic and operational aspects of Cost Management Services.
• Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, preparing RFP responses, and acting as a brand ambassador.
• Conduct market research and produce thought leadership reports regarding construction market conditions.
• Manage financial performance, including tracking revenue, margins, and resource requirements for commissions.
• Implement process improvements, quality control measures, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Partner with talent acquisition to plan for future staffing needs and mentor current staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant cost management or quantity surveying experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing cost management teams within a consulting environment.
• Proven business development acumen and a track record of driving business growth.
• Extensive experience in major construction sectors such as commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, or industrial manufacturing.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
