Cost Estimator

Responsibilities

• Elaborate cost estimates at various project stages (feasibility, APS, APD, detailed studies)
• Analyze technical documents including plans, specifications, quantities, and calculation notes
• Develop and update quantities, measurements, and internal cost bases
• Build price compositions for equipment, works, services, and subcontracting
• Identify and formalize hypotheses, risks, and uncertainties associated with estimates
• Prepare estimation notes and supporting documents for internal and client reviews
• Participate in supplier offer analysis in coordination with procurement teams
• Verify cost, schedule, and scope consistency with project managers
• Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and standardization

Requirements

• Bac+3 to Bac+5 degree in engineering, estimation, methods, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, ideally in industrial engineering (chemistry, petrochemicals, refining, energy, process)
• Strong understanding of industrial technologies such as piping, civil engineering, and process equipment
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and costing software
• Knowledge of AACE International standards and Cost Engineering principles
