About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review multi-disciplinary cost estimates for various stages of the project lifecycle, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive phases.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine cost-effective solutions and identify optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with project teams and Subject Matter Experts to resolve estimating queries and ensure high-quality estimates.
- Document all assumptions and clarifications clearly within the estimating process.
- Support the procurement process by providing cost analysis, evaluating vendor proposals, and making recommendations for vendor selection.
- Identify and evaluate capital efficiency opportunities and project risks.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EPC or Project Management within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in cost estimation or proposal execution.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong presentation skills.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in the energy sector.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-changing environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and work in shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cost estimation and execution of brownfield projects.
- Experience using cost estimation software such as Aspen CCE.
- Prior experience interfacing with contractors or remote teams across multiple countries in the energy sector.
- Experience in training or mentoring new employees.
