Cost Engineering/VAVE Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on cost leadership activities, including cost engineering, benchmarking, and target cost setting.
• Manage the identification of design and process changes related to Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE).
• Evaluate cost reduction and product improvement ideas based on technical feasibility, financial benefit, and customer acceptance.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external groups, including Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Suppliers.
• Develop business cases for VAVE changes and present them to senior management for approval.
• Coordinate engineering changes, tooling modifications, testing, PPAP, and manufacturing launches.
• Provide regular updates and technical presentations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or a related engineering field.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written, including technical communication).
• Strong knowledge of product design, material technologies, and process technologies.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently to manage projects within predefined timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both executive and lower-level management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
• Experience or knowledge in value methodology to support workshops.
