Cost Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop project cost control data structures to track actual costs
• Establish and set project control budgets aligned with baselines
• Track internal and external expenditure against cost control structures
• Manage project accruals and commitments against budget constraints
• Build project forecasts including ETC and EAC
• Report project information including Earned Value Management metrics
• Track project contingency and risk exposure
• Manage project change control and track key project trends

Requirements

• Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline
• Proven experience delivering project controls for major projects or programmes
• Experience across the full project lifecycle (design, execution, commissioning)
• Proficiency with cost management systems such as Prism or Ecosys
• Experience interfacing with corporate finance systems like SAP or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• CIMA qualification
