Cost Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for feasibility, FEED, and EPC phases
• Develop and manage project cost budgets and forecasts
• Monitor cost performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Support contract evaluations, bid analysis, and change management
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow projections, and KPIs
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of cost engineering experience in upstream and/or downstream projects
• Strong knowledge of estimating methods, cost control tools, and project management concepts
• Proficiency in Excel and cost management software (e.g., SAP, Primavera, AACE practices)
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
