Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project budgets, commitments, actual costs, accruals, forecasts, and cost-to-complete for Saudi Arabia projects.
• Prepare, review, and update project cost estimates and cost breakdowns covering labor, materials, equipment, and logistics.
• Verify supplier, vendor, and subcontractor invoices and claims against purchase orders and approved budgets.
• Track and report project variations, change orders, and related cost or revenue impacts.
• Prepare monthly project cost reports, budget-versus-actual analysis, and management dashboards.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Operations to monitor deliveries and project close-out status.
• Identify cost risks and budget overruns, recommending corrective actions to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project cost control, project accounting, or commercial finance.
• Proven experience within the oil and gas, industrial services, or construction sectors.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP, accounting, or project management systems.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA.
