Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Perform daily posting of departmental transfers and run daily sales depletion processes
• Prepare and distribute weekly cost reports and manage month-end processes, including expense re-allocations and accruals
• Arrange and record monthly inventory counts and analyze stock variances and movements
• Manage Micros menu items and calculate staff meal costs
• Balance stock and purchase accruals while reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts
• Track and communicate slow-moving and ageing stock
• Ensure accurate and timely capture of entitlements, discounts, and other financial data

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience working with accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong ability to work within strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or bookkeeping
• Previous professional experience in cost control
