Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational P&L by controlling and analyzing the Full Warehouse Profit and Loss statement, ensuring correct expense allocation and managing cost drivers such as labor, supplies, and maintenance.
• Perform daily variance analysis between budget and actual spending, designing immediate action plans to address any discrepancies.
• Co-lead annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting, modeling cost scenarios based on volume peaks (e.g., Hot Sale or Buen Fin).
• Monitor Cost Per Item (CPI) on a weekly basis to identify financial inefficiencies, such as excessive overtime or supply waste.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating the ROI of technology projects or process changes using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Design financial dashboards to support decision-making for Site Managers and Directors, acting as a key bridge between Corporate Finance and Operations.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in management control or operational finance, ideally within distribution centers, manufacturing, or retail environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (indispensable).
• Experience working with ERP systems, specifically SAP (FI/CO modules).
• Technical knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for operational teams.
• High adaptability to dynamic environments and a strong sense of ownership.
