Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily hotel operating costs including Food & Beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Verify correct allocation of costs to appropriate cost centers and operating system locations
• Analyze significant variations from budget and cost standards
• Prepare monthly cost reports and identify areas for improvement
• Support the annual budgeting process and provide historical cost analysis
• Collaborate with department heads to develop realistic budgets and forecasts
• Supervise Food & Beverage and material inventories to ensure correct valuation
• Perform periodic inventory checks and manage expiry dates to reduce losses
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and collaborate with auditors

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Excel and financial management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High ethical and professional standards
