Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project cost reports, cost-to-complete, and estimate-at-completion forecasts using RIB Candy
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices
• Maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Track variation orders, claims, and provisional sums
• Support monthly project cost reviews and management reporting
• Reconcile project costs with finance and accounting records
• Assist in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting
• Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, and site teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Control or Quantity Surveying within the construction industry
• Mandatory experience in the construction/contracting industry
• Mandatory hands-on experience with RIB Candy or CostX
• Knowledge of Primavera, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and commercial management principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
• Must reside in KSA and hold a valid iqama

• GCC experience
• Power BI experience
• RICS, AACE, or PMP certifications
