Cost Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, thorough, and timely quantity takeoffs using company format and coding
• Provide information to senior estimators and change managers to develop accurate clarifications and assumptions
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing input
• Assess and plan takeoff workload
• Manage the change order process and coordinate with site project management teams
• Review RFIs, owner change directives, and field directives with cradle-to-grave ownership of cost impacts

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in construction management or engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) estimating experience
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., MC2, On-Screen Takeoff, Paydirt, iSqFt) and Microsoft Suite
• Previous experience working on-site with a large project management team
• Ability to travel between project sites in Sacramento, San Jose, and Los Angeles

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial pre-construction, estimating, or change management experience
• Mission-critical or data center experience
