Cost Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze hotel expenses across all departments to ensure alignment with budget targets
• Review financial reports to identify discrepancies, cost variances, or trends
• Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and cost control forecasts
• Oversee inventory management for food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile stock levels
• Work with the purchasing department to ensure competitive pricing and budgetary compliance
• Prepare detailed cost control reports for senior management
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with cost control policies
• Provide guidance and training to department heads on financial policies
• Identify opportunities for waste reduction and resource efficiency

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or finance
• Experience within the hospitality industry preferred
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management
• Proficiency with financial software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, or SAP
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and purchasing software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
