About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze hotel expenses across all departments to ensure alignment with budget targets
- Review financial reports to identify discrepancies, cost variances, or trends
- Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and cost control forecasts
- Oversee inventory management for food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile stock levels
- Work with the purchasing department to ensure competitive pricing and budgetary compliance
- Prepare detailed cost control reports for senior management
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with cost control policies
- Provide guidance and training to department heads on financial policies
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction and resource efficiency
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or finance
- Experience within the hospitality industry preferred
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management
- Proficiency with financial software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, or SAP
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and purchasing software
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
