Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a cost control system for the FPSO Kutei project to support decision-making and ensure budget compliance
• Implement the Cost Control System, including the development of the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Cost Coding Manual
• Monitor activity progress, earned value, and monthly accruals to ensure accounts align with work progress
• Analyze committed costs, review estimates to complete, and identify deviations from baselines to prevent budget overruns
• Support the contract changes and claims process by providing detailed cost impact analysis
• Coordinate risk management activities, including qualitative and quantitative assessments and Montecarlo Analysis
• Prepare project and company reporting, including cash-flow statements and cost-feedback data for project closure

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5 years of experience as a Cost Control Engineer
• Proven experience within the Oil and Gas industry
• Fluency in English
• Strong technical skills in cost control, financial control, cash flow statements, and provisioning
