Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare project budgets and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS)
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and report variances
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and dashboards
• Validate quantities, productivity, and subcontractor payment applications
• Review and verify subcontractor and supplier invoices
• Track commitments, expenditures, and cost‑to‑complete (CTC) forecasts
• Support EAC updates, cash flow planning, and variation cost assessments
• Maintain accurate, auditable cost records and ERP system updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• 8–10 years’ experience in cost control (UAE preferred)
• Strong understanding of BOQs, cost structures, and commercial processes
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting
• Knowledge of Planning coordination and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, BuildSmart, MS Dynamics)
• Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCP®, CAE®, EVM, or PMP® certifications
