Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain project baseline budgets and cash flow projections
• Monitor daily expenditures, commitments, and track actual costs against the approved budget
• Identify cost variances early, determine root causes, and propose corrective actions to management
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including Cash Flow status, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR), and cost-to-complete forecasts
• Evaluate the financial impact of variation orders (VOs) and claims, integrating them into the budget

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• 1-3 years of solid experience as a Cost Control Engineer within the construction or contracting industry
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and ERP systems
• Exceptional analytical thinking and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• CCP (Certified Cost Professional) certification
• PMP certification
