Cost and Commercial Management - Hospital Construction

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management and estimating expertise to support scheme delivery and maintain control of approved baselines
• Support cost assurance, commercial matter resolution, risk review, and data verification
• Develop close working relationships with scheme leads, Trusts, and advisors to ensure compliance with client processes
• Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making
• Identify and contribute to the management of risks, including threats and opportunities
• Support business case reviews and contribute to change control assessments
• Engage with regional teams to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members

Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification with a track record in delivering major projects and programmes
• Experience in large-scale, complex transformation programmes or major projects
• Strong stakeholder management and client-focused approach
• Ability to work proactively across cost management and estimating functions
• Professional qualification (working towards or held)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction consultancy
• Experience in healthcare or life science projects
• Experience with digital software for project management
