Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cost accounting policies, procedures, and systems
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost data within the ERP system
• Analyze standard costs and actual production costs to identify variances
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc cost reports including COGS and gross margin analysis
• Oversee costing of inventory including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Perform monthly WIP reconciliation and manage inventory reserves
• Collaborate with Production, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics departments
• Assist with financial audits and procedural improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with standard costing
• Proven experience in inventory reconciliation processes
• Experience in a start-up or high-growth company
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite experience
